- Studied at the meteor sports center in Zhukovsky, before moving to Germany to train with Nina Bratchikova
- Favorite hobby is drawing, and her favorite artist is Vincent Van Gogh - particularly 'self-portrait with a severed ear'

Began the year at a career high ranking of No.39 and a strong opening result at Auckland with quarterfinal (l. Gauff). Posted her best Grand Slam result to date with R16 at Roland Garros (l. M.Andreeva) and reached semifinals at WTA 125s Paris (l. Shnaider) and Hong Kong (l. Tauson)
Stand out results of 2023 were achieving runner-up at Austin and two quarterfinals, firstly on clay at Strasbourg (l. Svitolina) and then on grass at Bad Homburg (l. Bronzetti). Also advanced to R16 at both Indian Wells (as qualifier, l. eventual champion Rybakina) and Miami (as qualifier, l. eventual champion Kvitova). Top ranking of the season of No. 40 was achieved on August 7, 2023.
Best results of 2022 were runs to QF at Chennai (l. eventual champion Fruhvirtova) and 3r at Roland Garros (l. Mertens). Also reached 2r on four occasions
