Returned to tennis at 2020 US Open where she made QF (l. S. Williams), after a three-year break to give birth and raise son Alexander (born April 2018)
At Flushing Meadows - her first tournament since 2017 Wimbledon - upset No.16 Muguruza and No.18 en route to QF

Finished 2017 ranked No.162. Of her 16 year-end rankings, has ended the year outside the Top 100 only on five occasions
